Privacy and your information.
What Boston Atlantic collects, what stays only in your browser, and how to contact us about your information.

Who we are
Boston Atlantic is an independent housing advocacy and education platform founded by Sheri Wall. This notice covers this website, not the separate websites or licensed services of outside mortgage, real estate, education, or housing-agency providers. Consumers may choose any lender or real estate professional.
Educational tools that stay on this page
The homebuyer planner, homeownership-cost tool, and assistance research worksheet work in your current page’s browser memory. Their choices, illustrative dollar amounts, and personal notes are not submitted to Boston Atlantic, saved to an account, or used for eligibility or mortgage decisions. Reloading the page resets these inputs. A printed or saved-PDF copy may retain what you choose to include; your browser or device controls that copy.
Do not enter Social Security numbers, account numbers, passwords, credit reports, mortgage applications, sensitive financial details, or borrower documentation. The optional planner reminder is included only in your targeted print output—not in the on-screen planning summary or a website database. Page visits and general actions may still be measured as described below; entered tool values and notes are not included in our first-party analytics.
Information you choose to provide
Education, speaking, and partnership inquiries: first and last name, email, inquiry type, permission to respond, selected contact method, optional phone and organization, and the relevant event or topic information you provide. We retain the submission time and your separate educational-email preference. We use this information to review and respond to your chosen Boston Atlantic inquiry. A phone number is required only if you choose a phone or text response.
Professional resource requests: when email delivery is configured and available, the request requires first and last name, email, state, and permission to send the requested access message. Organization, role, and city are optional. The request records its purpose, time, separate educational-email preference, and verification/expiration times. A hashed token—not the raw access token—is retained to validate the link. The link demonstrates access to an email inbox; it is not professional credential verification. Public previews, public briefings, homebuyer resources, and educational tools remain usable without this registration.
Earlier website requests: previously submitted Connect inquiries, state-education notifications, and assistance-tool interest surveys may remain in the database. Those requests retain their original purpose. A state update or tool-interest request is not permission for unrelated marketing, mortgage solicitation, skip tracing, or sharing with a real estate agent. The earlier survey did not create an assistance-program match or eligibility assessment.
Owner sign-in: authentication may process identifiers, name, email, sign-in times, and account details. A site account is not required to use the public resources.
Receipts and optional educational emails
An inquiry is saved before notifications are attempted. A generic Manus owner alert contains no visitor name, email, phone number, or message. When a transactional sending service is configured, an email containing the inquiry may be sent to Boston Atlantic’s designated owner inbox. A visitor confirmation email is attempted only when the authorized response method is email. The website does not claim an email was sent if the sender is unavailable or the provider rejects the request. Provider acceptance is not proof that a message reached the recipient’s inbox.
A professional-resource access email is sent only through an available configured service and a received request. The separate educational-marketing checkbox is unchecked by default. Permission to respond or send an access link does not enroll you in a newsletter or unrelated campaign. No automated newsletter campaign is implemented here; any later educational campaign must honor the recorded preference and provide an opt-out method.
Website measurement and technology
The website stores a random browser session identifier in local storage and records page paths, actions, referral hostnames, device category, and timestamps to understand aggregate engagement. The earlier third-party automatic tracking script has been removed; first-party measurement continues. Query-string access tokens, planner notes, worksheet notes, and entered cost assumptions are not included in our first-party tracking records. The private guide route is excluded from first-party page tracking; browser referrer policy limits referrer details.
Fonts are served from this website’s managed storage. Sign-in may set necessary session cookies. Browsers, hosting, database, authentication, analytics, and notification services may process standard technical request data to operate the site. You can manage storage and cookies through browser settings; sign-in may not function without necessary cookies.
Access and necessary service providers
Authorized Boston Atlantic site administrators can review inquiry and resource-request records in the protected owner dashboard. Existing education-notification and assistance-interest exports remain private. Hosting, database, authentication, analytics, notification, and—when configured—Resend transactional-email services process the information needed for their respective functions. Resource registration does not automatically transfer information into a mortgage application, lender CRM, Realtor matching process, or multiple-agent distribution.
External agency and professional links open separate services with their own policies. This implementation does not sell inquiry or registration information or share it for third-party marketing. That statement must be revisited if future business, vendor, referral, or sharing practices change.
Retention and your choices
Access tokens expire after 24 hours, but the associated request record does not automatically expire. This site currently has no automatic record-deletion schedule for inquiries, resource requests, accounts, analytics, or earlier waitlist/survey records. Records remain until removed following a verified request or another applicable operational or legal requirement.
To request access, correction, removal, or withdrawal of an educational-email preference, email swall@bostonatlantic.com. Identify the relevant email and type of request, without sending sensitive documents. We may need to confirm identity before acting.
